Deconstructed Air-Fried Iced Coffee
This is an adapted air fryer method for iced coffee, which is traditionally a cold beverage. We'll be using the air fryer to create a warm, deconstructed version of iced coffee, focusing on caramelizing the coffee and milk solids for a unique flavor.
Ingredients
- ☕Brewed Coffee(1 cup)
- 🥛Milk(1/2 cup)
- 🍚Sugar(1-2 tablespoons)
- 🧊Ice Cubes(6-8)
Instructions
- 1.Pour the brewed coffee into a shallow, air-fryer-safe dish.
- 2.In a separate small, air-fryer-safe ramekin, combine the milk and sugar. Stir until the sugar is mostly dissolved.
- 3.Place both dishes in the air fryer. Air fry for 5 minutes.
- 4.Carefully remove the milk mixture. Stir it well. Continue air frying the coffee for another 3 minutes, or until it starts to reduce and caramelize slightly at the edges.
- 5.Pour the warm, caramelized coffee into a mug. Add the ice cubes.
- 6.Slowly pour the warm, sweetened milk over the ice and coffee. The contrast in temperatures will create an interesting effect.
- 7.Stir gently with a spoon and enjoy your deconstructed air-fried iced coffee!
