Air Fryer BBQ Ribs: Fall-Off-The-Bone Deliciousness!
Get ready for some seriously tender, smoky, and saucy ribs, all made in the magical air fryer! Who needs a grill when you have this beauty?
Ingredients
- 🍖Pork Ribs (St. Louis style or baby back)(1.5 - 2 lbs)
- 🌶️Your favorite BBQ rub(2-3 tbsp)
- 🍯Your favorite BBQ sauce(1/2 cup)
- 🍎Apple cider vinegar(2 tbsp)
- 💧Water(1/4 cup)
Instructions
- 1.Pat the ribs dry with paper towels. This helps the rub stick and creates a better crust.
- 2.Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. If you're not sure how, ask your butcher or look up a quick video – it makes a huge difference in tenderness!
- 3.Generously rub the ribs all over with your favorite BBQ rub. Don't be shy!
- 4.Cut the rack of ribs into 2-3 rib portions so they fit comfortably in your air fryer basket. Don't overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if necessary.
- 5.In a small bowl, mix the apple cider vinegar and water. This creates a little steam bath in your air fryer for extra tender ribs.
- 6.Place the rib portions in the air fryer basket. Pour the apple cider vinegar and water mixture over and around the ribs.
- 7.Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 40 minutes. Flip the ribs halfway through cooking.
- 8.After 40 minutes, brush the ribs generously with your favorite BBQ sauce.
- 9.Continue to air fry for another 15-20 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized and sticky, and the ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender. You might need to brush with more sauce during this time.
- 10.Let the ribs rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute, making them even more delicious!
