Ingredients
- 🥔Potatoes(2 large)
- 🫒Olive oil(1 tbsp)
- 🧂Salt(1/2 tsp)
- 🌶️Black pepper(1/4 tsp)
Instructions
- 1.Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into even-sized fries, about 1/4 inch thick.
- 2.Soak the cut fries in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch. This helps with crispiness!
- 3.Drain the fries thoroughly and pat them completely dry with a paper towel. This is a crucial step for crispy results.
- 4.In a bowl, toss the dried fries with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- 5.Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- 6.Place the seasoned fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if necessary.
- 7.Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket every 5 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
- 8.Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy your guilt-free crispy fries!
