Air Fryer Ribeye Steak
Achieve a perfectly cooked ribeye steak with a beautiful crust using your air fryer. This method is quick, easy, and delivers delicious results every time.
Ingredients
- Ribeye Steak(1 (1.5-inch thick))
- Olive Oil(1 tbsp)
- Salt(to taste)
- Black Pepper(to taste)
- Garlic Powder(1/2 tsp)
- 🧈Butter(1 tbsp)
- Fresh Rosemary (optional)(1 sprig)
Instructions
- 1.Pat the ribeye steak dry with paper towels. This helps achieve a better sear.
- 2.Rub the steak with olive oil, then season generously with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on all sides.
- 3.Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
- 4.Carefully place the seasoned ribeye steak in the air fryer basket. For a 1.5-inch thick steak, cook for 6 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust to your desired doneness.
- 5.For the last 2 minutes of cooking, you can add a pat of butter and a sprig of fresh rosemary on top of the steak for extra flavor.
- 6.Once cooked, remove the steak from the air fryer and let it rest on a cutting board for 5-10 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring a tender and flavorful steak.
