Air-Fried Steak and Fries
This recipe provides a delicious and easy way to cook both steak and fries in your air fryer, ensuring a crispy exterior for the fries and a perfectly cooked steak. This is an adapted air fryer method for steak, which is traditionally pan-fried or grilled.
Ingredients
- 🥩Steak(1 (about 1-inch thick))
- 🍟Frozen French Fries(2 cups)
- 🫒Olive Oil(1 tablespoon)
- 🧂Salt(to taste)
- 🌶️Black Pepper(to taste)
- 🧄Garlic Powder(1/2 teaspoon)
- 🌿Fresh Parsley (for garnish)(1 tablespoon, chopped)
Instructions
- 1.Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- 2.Pat the steak dry with paper towels. Rub both sides with olive oil, then season generously with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- 3.Place the frozen French fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- 4.After 10 minutes, push the fries to one side of the basket and place the seasoned steak in the other half. Cook for another 8-10 minutes for medium-rare steak, flipping the steak halfway through. For well-done, cook for an additional 2-4 minutes.
- 5.Once cooked, remove the steak and fries from the air fryer. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- 6.Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
