Air Fryer Calzone
A crispy, cheesy calzone, air-fried to perfection. No more soggy crusts!
Ingredients
- 🍕Refrigerated pizza dough(1 can)
- 🧀Ricotta cheese(1/2 cup)
- 🧀Mozzarella cheese, shredded(1 cup)
- 🧀Parmesan cheese, grated(1/4 cup)
- 🥫Marinara sauce(1/2 cup)
- 🥓Pepperoni slices(1/2 cup)
- 🥚Egg, beaten(1)
- 🫒Olive oil(1 tbsp)
- 🧄Garlic powder(1/2 tsp)
- 🌿Italian seasoning(1/2 tsp)
Instructions
- 1.Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- 2.Unroll the pizza dough and cut it into 4 equal rectangles.
- 3.In a bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
- 4.On one half of each dough rectangle, spread a spoonful of marinara sauce, leaving a border.
- 5.Top with the cheese mixture and pepperoni.
- 6.Fold the other half of the dough over the filling and crimp the edges with a fork to seal.
- 7.Brush the tops of the calzones with beaten egg wash and a drizzle of olive oil.
- 8.Carefully place 1-2 calzones in the air fryer basket, ensuring they don't touch.
- 9.Air fry for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through, flipping halfway.
- 10.Repeat with the remaining calzones.
- 11.Serve hot with extra marinara for dipping. Enjoy your perfectly air-fried calzone!
