Air Fryer Calzone

A crispy, cheesy calzone, air-fried to perfection. No more soggy crusts!

Ingredients

  • 🍕Refrigerated pizza dough(1 can)
  • 🧀Ricotta cheese(1/2 cup)
  • 🧀Mozzarella cheese, shredded(1 cup)
  • 🧀Parmesan cheese, grated(1/4 cup)
  • 🥫Marinara sauce(1/2 cup)
  • 🥓Pepperoni slices(1/2 cup)
  • 🥚Egg, beaten(1)
  • 🫒Olive oil(1 tbsp)
  • 🧄Garlic powder(1/2 tsp)
  • 🌿Italian seasoning(1/2 tsp)

Instructions

  1. 1.Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. 2.Unroll the pizza dough and cut it into 4 equal rectangles.
  3. 3.In a bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  4. 4.On one half of each dough rectangle, spread a spoonful of marinara sauce, leaving a border.
  5. 5.Top with the cheese mixture and pepperoni.
  6. 6.Fold the other half of the dough over the filling and crimp the edges with a fork to seal.
  7. 7.Brush the tops of the calzones with beaten egg wash and a drizzle of olive oil.
  8. 8.Carefully place 1-2 calzones in the air fryer basket, ensuring they don't touch.
  9. 9.Air fry for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through, flipping halfway.
  10. 10.Repeat with the remaining calzones.
