Crispy Air Fryer French Fries

  • 🌶️Optional: Paprika, garlic powder, or other seasonings

Instructions

  1. 1.Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into 1/4-inch thick fries.
  2. 2.Soak the cut fries in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch. This helps with crispiness!
  3. 3.Drain the fries thoroughly and pat them completely dry with a paper towel. This is a crucial step for crispy fries!
  4. 4.In a large bowl, toss the dried fries with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any other desired seasonings.
  5. 5.Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
  6. 6.Place the seasoned fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if necessary.
