Crispy Air Fryer French Fries

Instructions
- 1.Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into 1/4-inch thick fries.
- 2.Soak the cut fries in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch. This helps with crispiness!
- 3.Drain the fries thoroughly and pat them completely dry with a paper towel. This is a crucial step for crispy fries!
- 4.In a large bowl, toss the dried fries with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any other desired seasonings.
- 5.Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
- 6.Place the seasoned fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if necessary.
- 7.Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket every 5-7 minutes, until the fries are golden brown and crispy.
