Air Fryer Juicy Burgers
Get ready for a burger revolution! These air-fried burgers are incredibly juicy on the inside and perfectly seared on the outside, all thanks to the magic of the air fryer. No grill? No problem!
Ingredients
- 🥩Ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)(1 pound)
- 🧂Salt(1/2 teaspoon)
- 🌶️Black pepper(1/4 teaspoon)
- 🧄Garlic powder(1/2 teaspoon)
- 🧅Onion powder(1/2 teaspoon)
- 🍔Burger buns(4)
- 🧀Cheese slices (cheddar, American, or your favorite)(4)
- 🥗Toppings (lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, etc.)
- 🥫Condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo, etc.)
Instructions
- 1.In a medium bowl, gently mix the ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the burgers tough.
- 2.Divide the meat into four equal portions and form them into patties, about 3/4 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty with your thumb – this helps prevent them from puffing up too much during cooking.
- 3.Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
- 4.Place the patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- 5.Cook for 8-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until your desired doneness is reached. For medium-rare, aim for 8-9 minutes; for medium, 10-11 minutes; and for well-done, 12 minutes.
- 6.During the last 2 minutes of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each burger patty to melt.
- 7.While the burgers are cooking, you can lightly toast your burger buns in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes at 350°F (175°C) if desired.
- 8.Assemble your burgers with your favorite toppings and condiments. Serve immediately and enjoy your perfectly air-fried masterpiece!
