Air Fryer Fried Chicken Breast
Crispy, juicy fried chicken breast made healthier in the air fryer!

Ingredients
- Boneless, skinless chicken breasts(2)
- All-purpose flour(1/2 cup)
- Egg(1)
- Panko breadcrumbs(1 cup)
- Paprika(1 tsp)
- Garlic powder(1 tsp)
- Onion powder(1 tsp)
- Salt(1/2 tsp)
- Black pepper(1/2 tsp)
- Cooking spray(as needed)
Instructions
- 1.Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels. This helps the breading stick!
- 2.Set up a dredging station: In one shallow dish, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. In a second shallow dish, whisk the egg. In a third shallow dish, place the Panko breadcrumbs.
- 3.Dip each chicken breast first in the flour mixture, shaking off excess. Then dip in the egg, letting any extra drip off. Finally, coat generously in the Panko breadcrumbs, pressing to adhere.
- 4.Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the breaded chicken breasts in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they don't overlap. You may need to cook in batches.
- 5.Lightly spray the tops of the chicken breasts with cooking spray.
- 6.Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 15-18 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F/74°C).
- 7.Serve immediately and enjoy your guilt-free fried chicken!
