🌡️ 375°F (190°C)

Ingredients

  • 🥩Ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)(1 pound)
  • 🧂Salt(1/2 teaspoon)
  • 🌶️Black pepper(1/4 teaspoon)
  • 🧄Garlic powder(1/2 teaspoon)
  • 🧅Onion powder(1/2 teaspoon)
  • 🍔Burger buns(4)
  • 🧀Cheese slices (cheddar, American, or your favorite)(4)
  • 🥗Toppings (lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, etc.)
  • 🥫Condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo, etc.)

Instructions

  1. 1.In a medium bowl, gently mix the ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the burgers tough.
  2. 2.Divide the meat into four equal portions and form them into patties, about 3/4 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty with your thumb – this helps prevent them from puffing up too much during cooking.
  3. 3.Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
  4. 4.Place the patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  5. 5.Cook for 8-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until your desired doneness is reached. For medium-rare, aim for 8-9 minutes; for medium, 10-11 minutes; and for well-done, 12 minutes.
  6. 6.During the last 2 minutes of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each burger patty to melt.
  7. 7.While the burgers are cooking, you can lightly toast your burger buns in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes at 350°F (175°C) if desired.
  8. 8.Assemble your burgers with your favorite toppings and condiments. Serve immediately and enjoy your perfectly air-fried masterpiece!
