  • 🍶Soy sauce(2 tbsp)
  • 🌶️Gochujang (Korean chili paste)(1 tbsp)
  • 🍯Honey(1 tbsp)
  • 🍚Rice vinegar(1 tbsp)
  • 🧄Minced garlic(1 tsp)
  • 🧅Minced ginger(1 tsp)
  • nuttySesame oil(1 tsp)
  • 🌽Cornstarch(2 tbsp)
  • 🧂Salt and pepper(to taste)

Instructions

  1. 1.Pat the chicken dry with paper towels. This is crucial for crispiness!
  2. 2.In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, gochujang, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
  3. 3.Add the chicken to the marinade, tossing to coat evenly. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours in the fridge.
  4. 4.Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  5. 5.Remove chicken from marinade and toss with cornstarch, salt, and pepper until lightly coated.
  6. 6.Arrange chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure not to overcrowd. You may need to cook in batches.
  7. 7.Air fry for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through. For extra crispiness, you can increase the temperature to 400°F (200°C) for the last 5 minutes.
  8. 8.Serve immediately and prepare for a flavor explosion that will make your taste buds do the Gangnam Style!
